Programmer Menu

The Programmer Menu is used by an installer or programmer to access keypad-specific programming and configuration options. It provides settings that control how the keypad operates and communicates with the system, including options related to keypad setup and configuration.

You’ll need to access this during the keypad set up to program the panel. This is typically done using another hardwired keypad capable of entering panel programming.

Navigate the Programmer Menu

Command (CMD)

Use CMD to move forward through each section of the Programmer Menu.

Back Arrow

Use the back arrow to back up one step while in the Programmer Menu. You can also press the back arrow once to erase the last character you entered.

Select Areas

Your keypad has a top row of select areas. Each time you press a select area, the keypad displays a function or series of options.

When there are more than four options avail­able, press CMD to display the remaining options. Pressing the back arrow allows you to review the previous four choices.

Access the Programmer Menu

Touchscreen Keypad

1. Reset the panel by shorting the RESET header.

2. Press Keypad in the Carousel menu, then enter 6653 (PROG). Press CMD.

3. Press CMD to advance to the next option in the menu.

4. To exit the Programmer menu, select CMD to advance through the menu items until you reach STOP at the end of the menu. Select STOP to return to the main screen.

Thinline Keypad

1. Reset the panel by shorting the RESET header.

2. Enter 6653 (PROG). Press CMD.

3. Press CMD to advance to the next option in the menu.

4. To exit the Programmer menu, select CMD to advance through the menu items until you reach STOP at the end of the menu. Select STOP to return to the main screen.
